Post determination amendments

The Third Revolution team led the planning application on behalf of Site Plan UK, including preparation of the DAS, managing the specialist team, and officer engagement. It was approved by planning committee in March 2022.

The site forms the gateway to the village and proposals include 50% affordable housing, a new green edge, public footpath link and amenity spaces. Being outside of the settlement boundary the development was contrary to policy and so a key feature of the instruction was to bring officers and members on-side.

A recent s73 application has secured amendments to the scheme to enable it to progress to construction.
