Rowan is an Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute (AssocRPTI) and the Institute of Economic Development (AEID) with over four years’ experience in the planning industry working on both planning and viability matters in the private and public sectors. Rowan’s planning experience has predominantly consisted of working on large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects, with a focus on evaluating the socio-economic impacts of development. He also has experience undertaking complex financial viability appraisals for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
Prior to joining Third Revolution, Rowan worked as an Economic Planner, conducting socio-economic assessments for a variety of renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including DCO/DNS solar and wind farm developments and ferry port improvements for island communities. He has conducted multiple stakeholder consultation events, gaining valuable insight into the local socio-economics characteristics of study areas.
Furthermore, Rowan has a complex understanding of local property markets having undertaken detailed financial viability appraisals and viability assessments for various schemes across England and Wales.
