Andrew is a chartered town planner with 8 years post qualification experience. He started his career as a planning consultant for a multidisciplinary property consultancy, managing a diverse range of planning applications for the public and private sectors, and social housing providers. He has worked on estate regeneration projects in London, new build residential, hotel and leisure applications, and planning appeals.
During his time at Third Revolution, he has been responsible for taking proposals through from inception to completion and helping secure planning consents for several solar farms and battery energy storage projects across different local authorities. Andrew also leads on residential, mixed use and retirement living schemes.
Andrew’s approach combines sound land use planning evidence with good design and place-making, sustainability, and commercial deliverability considerations, as a means of informing and challenging policy to achieve best value for clients. Underpinning his approach is an appreciation of both national and local political drivers and the importance of maintaining effective working relationships with decision makers at local planning authorities.
Key projects for Andrew include: Bryngolwg solar farm in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Clough Road battery energy storage in Hull, Rolleston Solar farm in East Staffordshire, Hatton solar farm in East Lindsey, Crowthorne care home in Wokingham, Ansty battery energy storage in Rugby, Wherwell solar farm in Test Valley, and Tophams solar farm in North Hertfordshire.
